Ich weiß nicht, ob es an meinem Faible fürs Maritime liegt, aber ich liebe Konzerte auf Schiffen. Unvergesslich für mich unser BONEHOUSE-Auftritt auf so ‘nem Punkerboot auf der Seine oder der TWENTYTWO-COLTSUCKERS-Abschied auf der „Wappen von Schleswig“. Von daher absolut erstaunlich, dass ich es noch NIE auf das MS Stubnitz geschafft habe, die bekanntlich regelmäßig interessante Veranstaltungen bietet. Liegt mal hier, mal da vor Ort (Rostock, Lübeck, Hamburg…). Sollten sogar mal mit BONEHOUSE dort spielen, aber irgendwie musste die Konzertgruppe das damals verlegen. Tim Vantol is a man of his words. At least if you judge
him by his debut success "Road Sweet Road (CD/LP)". Since the release in
late October 2009 he has constantly been touring. Nearly 200 concerts,
spread throughout the world, and by that his fan crowd is steadily
increasing. He is by now a household name among punk / folk rockers in
Europe. Last year he joined Antillectual. One of Hollands top punkrock
outfit, whom... currently got home from supporting Boysetsfire.
Tim has toured / shared stage with: The Gaslight Anthem, Chuck Ragan,
No Use For A Name, Strike Anywhere, Donots and Austin Lucas to mention a
few.

So einen herrlichen Quatsch muss man doch allein schon beim Anblick der Plattencover lieben: CANNABIS CORPSE kommen aus dem MUNICIPAL-WASTE-Umfeld (Landphil und ein Typ von VOLTURE sind dabei), spielen thrashig/punkigen Death Metal …mit Kiffer-Image und Titeln wie „Sworn To The Bag“, „Lunatic Of Pots Creation“, „Blunted At Birth“ oder „I Will Smoke You“. Das reicht mir alles, um nach Hamburg zu eiern – die Mucke hatte ich mir vorher nicht mal im Netz angehört (verschwendete Lebenszeit, in der ich kein Vinyl hören kann)… Ich WUSSTE einfach, dass das nur ein unterhaltsamer Abend werden kann…
